Program Overview:

The Muhlenberg College men’s tennis team began the decade as one of the top teams in the Centennial Conference, finishing with a .500 or better record in the league six straight seasons. The Mules tied for second place behind two-time national champion Washington in both 2000 and 2003.

Muhlenberg’s match schedule typically runs from about March 20 to April 30 and includes nine Conference and 5-7 non-Conference foes. The top four teams in the CC qualify for the league playoffs.

Muhlenberg men's tennisIn 2001, the Mules traveled to Florida for Spring Break, playing two matches and taking advantage of the warm weather to get in some outdoor practice time.

Although the official competitive season is in the spring, the team practices and plays matches in the fall. In 2006, Muhlenberg hosted a four-team tournament for the first time. The Mules train indoors when weather prevents outdoor practices.
