The Muhlenberg women came in third and the men fifth - both improving from last year - at the Centennial Conference Championships. Senior Jim Gamrat (left) placed in the discus at the Centennial Conference Championships for the third straight year, coming in a career-best fifth. Freshman Claire Thornton (right) helped the women's 4x800 relay team win a silver medal and set a school record.

Muhlenberg had some strong performances at the Lehigh Games, its last tuneup for the Centennial Conference Championships. Junior Darnell Davis (right) ran on the men's 4x100 relay team that finished first with an ECAC-qualifying time.

Senior Samantha Mayden (left) broke her own school record in the 5,000 meters at the Penn Relays, landing in third place on the NCAA Division III performance list.

Erica Bash April 20: Bash wins steeple at Moravian
In only her second time running the event, senior Erica Bash (right) won the steeplechase at Moravian's Greyhound Invitational with the second-best time in program history.

April 13: Thimmel breaks discus record
Freshman Jessica Thimmel broke the school record in the discus at The Coach P Open, one of three meets in which the Mules competed.

Jessica Thimmel March 30: Throwers excel in first outdoor meet
Freshman Jessica Thimmel (left) tied a 24-year-old school record in the discus at the Lafayette 7-Way Invitational, the first outdoor meet for the Mules. Sophomore Tyler Bauer of the men's team broke the school record in the javelin.

Juniors Jarrett Felix (left) and Jeffrey Phillips (right) were two of 10 track and field athletes among the 18 Muhlenberg student-athletes named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for the winter season.

Max Suitovsky Colette Faust February 23: Mule women tie best finish
The Muhlenberg women matched the best finish at the Centennial Conference Championships in program history, tying for second place a year after finishing seventh. Senior Colette Faust (right) won one of five silver medals for the Mules, coming in second in the high jump. Junior Max Suitovsky (left) ran on two fourth-place relay teams for the men, who came in sixth.
