The Muhlenberg baseball team finished up a week of tough competition in Florida by losing a doubleheader to St. Scholastica, 10-3 and 6-2.

The six opponents the Mules played on their Spring Break trip have a combined record of 32-9. St. Scholastica was 38-8 last year and is currently ranked 13th by D3baseball.com.

Muhlenberg (2-11-1) received strong production from the eighth and ninth hitters in the lineup against the Saints.

Freshman Max Litvak went 4-for-6 in the two games, driving in two runs with a single in the first game and hitting a triple in the nightcap.

Senior Bobby Spindler (left) went 2-for-3 in each game. He returned home from Florida with a .351 batting average; one of his eight hits on the trip (against Alvernia) was the 100th of his career.
