Golf Teams Compete in Central Pennsylvania

The Muhlenberg golf teams traveled west to compete in tournaments the last two days.

On Sunday, the women opened their season by finishing ninth at the Dickinson Spring Invitational. Freshman Christina Bryde made an impressive debut, shooting an 89 – the second-lowest score ever by a Mule freshman in her first tournament – to finish ninth out of 42 golfers. Senior Amanda Heiberger shot a career-best 107.

On Monday, the men sent two golfers to the York Spring Invitational, and both did well. Sophomore Christopher Lucarelli carded a 3-over-par 75 to tie for fourth place, and senior Zack Meyers finished in the top 2o with a 79.
