Kline Named Player of the Week

Kline was almost impossible to get out in a 4-2 CC week for the Mules, reaching base in 19 of 25 plate appearances and hitting .684 with 10 runs scored and
12 RBI. She had two doubles, a triple and her fifth home run of the season for a slugging percentage of 1.053 and an OPS of 1.813.
Kline also broke the school record for longest hitting streak 19 games.
Kline led a resurgent Muhlenberg offense that scored 53 runs in the six games. The Mules raised their team batting average from .281 to .312 during the week.
For the season, Kline leads the CC in batting average (.540), hits (34), total bases (60) and slugging percentage (.952) and is second in RBI (25) and home runs.
With the season just at its halfway point, Kline is just two home runs and five extra-base hits away from tying the school records in those categories.
