Jones Named Pitcher of the Week

Jones contributed to three wins in a 4-0 week for the Mules, going 2-0 with a save. She allowed only two earned runs in 16 1/3 innings for a 0.86 ERA while striking out 15, walking none and holding opponents to a
.194 batting average.
Jones tossed a five-hitter for her second career shutout in the first game of the Franklin & Marshall doubleheader, then pitched out of a bases-loaded jam to earn the save in the nightcap.
Her 15 strikeouts gave her 91 for the season, a school record for freshmen.
For the season, Jones is 9-9 with a 2.86 ERA. In her last 10 outings, she is 6-3 with a save and a 1.54 ERA.
