Sophomore midfielder Stephanie Umbach was named offensive player of the week by the Centennial Conference.

Umbach scored five goals on only six shots and recorded 11 draw controls – one short of the school and CC record she set last year – in a 19-5 win against Eastern. She also had two assists and tied for the team high with four ground balls.

Umbach netted six of her seven points in the first half, helping the Mules (1-1) tie a school record with 15 goals in the half.

Through two games, Umbach leads Muhlenberg in scoring with 15 points, nearly halfway to her total (38) from all last season, when she earned all-region honors. She also leads the team with 14 draw controls.
