Men's Golf Ties for Sixth, Women's Tennis Swept

Jonathan Graulich The Muhlenberg men’s golf team tied for sixth at the Moravian Spring Invitational.

The Mules tied DeSales with a team score of 330, three strokes out of third place.

Freshman Jonathan Graulich (left) and senior Brandon Davis each carded an 81. Graulich was one of only four golfers in the 73-player field to shoot one over par or better on the back nine. Juniors Chris DiMaio and Christopher Lucarelli finished at 84. Lucarelli shot two birdie-twos on the back nine, one on the 121-yard 13th hole and the other on the 164-yard 16th.

The Muhlenberg women’s tennis team fell to 0-2 in the Centennial Conference with a 9-0 loss at Swarthmore yesterday. The Garnet is ranked seventh in the Atlantic South Region.

Sophomore Jennifer Goldberg came the closest to winning, taking the opening set 7-5 before dropping the second (6-4) and the supertiebreaker at No. 3 singles.
