Softball Unbeaten Streak Snapped

The Muhlenberg softball team had its six-game unbeaten streak snapped with a doubleheader loss at Moravian.

The Greyhounds (24-6), who have been nationally ranked this year, won the first game, 7-0, and the nightcap, 10-2.

Junior Kelly Kline drove in both Mule runs with a third-inning single in the nightcap. Sophomores Alyssa Schell and Jaimie Klotz had a pair of singles apiece in the second game.

Muhlenberg has an 8-6 lead in the Matte Award standings with two events (men’s tennis and men’s golf) remaining.
