Men's Tennis Falls at Home; Men's Golf 12th

Daniel Lakhman The Muhlenberg men’s tennis team fell to 0-4 in the Centennial Conference with a 9-0 home loss to regionally ranked Haverford.

As of the latest ITA rankings, the Fords were 13th in the Atlantic South Region. All four of the Mules’ CC losses appear in the rankings: Swarthmore is sixth, Franklin & Marshall is 12th, and Washington College is 20th.

Muhlenberg came close in several matches. The No. 2 doubles team of freshman David Woods and junior Eric Chavis went to a tiebreak at 8-8 before falling, and at No. 3 doubles, senior Ben Berkowitz and sophomore Derrick Eng lost 8-6.

The men’s golf team finished 12th out of 14 teams at the Alvernia Spring Invitational. Senior Christopher Lucarelli and freshman John Froberg each shot an 84.
