The foursome finished second to a Division I team and broke the school record which Miller and Yalango helped set as freshmen three years ago
by more than nine seconds. The Mules’ time is the best in the CC this season by 26 seconds.
Senior Peter Rice earned the CC weekly recognition for the fourth time in his career. Rice was part of two first-place finishes at the
Lafayette-Rider Games, winning the 400 and anchoring the 4x400. His time in the 400 (49.56) is the best in the CC this season, and he
helped the relay team break an eight-year-old school record. Rice is now part of five school-record relay teams.

Five members of the Muhlenberg track and field teams, four women and one man, were named athletes of the week by the Centennial Conference.
The four women seniors Kimberlee Yalango and Nicolette Miller, sophomore Nicki Cronin and
junior Erica Bash, left to right in the picture at left combined to set a CC record of 9:33.37 in the 4x800 relay at the
Lafayette-Rider Games. They broke the standard of 9:33.43 set by a Johns Hopkins team in 2009.
