Rispoli Named to Preseason All-America List

Nick Rospoli Senior Nick Rispoli of the Muhlenberg men’s lacrosse team received honorable mention on the Inside Lacrosse Face-Off Yearbook preseason All-America squad.

Rispoli was a first-team All-Centennial Conference selection as a faceoff specialist in 2011 after leading the CC in ground balls per game (5.36) and faceoff winning percentage (.614). He ranked 27th in Division III in the latter category.

Rispoli set school single-season records for ground balls (75), faceoffs won (116) and faceoff percentage. He also ranks in the top 10 on Muhlenberg’s career lists for ground balls (seventh, 101) and faceoff wins (fourth, 165).

Rispoli and his teammates are scheduled to begin the 2012 season with a home game against Montclair State on Wednesday, February 22.
