Antonini, Graetzer Named to All-Region Teams
Friday, December 7, 2012|
Muhlenberg soccer players Cody Antonini and CJ Graetzer were selected to the All-Mid-Atlantic Region teams by the National Soccer
Coaches Association of America.
A unanimous All-Centennial Conference selection, Antonini scored 16 goals in his senior season, finishing his career with a hat trick against Ursinus. He led the CC and ranked 10th in Division III in goals per game.
Antonini ended his career with 49 goals, good for fourth all-time at Muhlenberg and 10th in CC history.
Graetzer is the first all-region selection for the Muhlenberg women’s team since 2009 and the first non-senior so honored since 2003.
She was named to the All-CC first team
after leading the Mules in scoring in CC games with seven points on three goals and an assist. Her points were big ones too: She scored the first goal in a 2-0 upset of Johns Hopkins, at the time ranked sixth in Division III and an eventual NCAA quarterfinalist, and she had a goal and an assist in a
2-0 win against regionally ranked Swarthmore.
Graetzer will enter her senior season just outside the top 15 on Muhlenberg’s all-time list with 30 career points.

The first-team nod was the third for Antonini, who also was picked in 2009 and 2010. He took last season off but returned to become only the third Mule the first
in more than 20 years to earn first-team all-region honors three times.
