Hannah Rush February 22: Mules beaten in conference semis
Muhlenberg held a six-point lead with 3:30 left but did not score again and lost Swarthmore, 62-56, in a Centennial Conference semifinal. Sophomore Hannah Rush (right) scored 10 points and dished out four assists.

After honoring its three seniors Muhlenberg beat Ursinus, 75-63, to clinch a first-round playoff bye.

Nicole Pepe February 13: Mules pull away late to beat Haverford
A banked-in three-pointer at the shot-clock buzzer by sophomore Nicole Pepe (right) was a key play in a game-ending 16-6 run as the Mules toppled Haverford, 68-59, for their fifth straight win.

February 12: Zabrecky named to team of the year
Senior Alita Zabrecky was named to the Lehigh Valley Small College Basketball 2012-13 Team of the Year.

Kate Clawson February 9: Mules clinch playoff berth
Senior Kate Clawson (left) scored 15 points to lead four players in double figures as the Mules defeated McDaniel, 67-47, to clinch their eighth straight Centennial Conference playoff berth.

Laura Gregory February 6: Muhlenberg moves into third
Muhlenberg moved into third place in the Centennial Conference with a 77-43 win at Bryn Mawr and losses by two other teams. Sophomore Laura Gregery (left) was one of 13 Mules to score points, netting six in 12 minutes of play.

February 5: Mules roll past Dickinson
Senior Alita Zabrecky scored 16 of her season-high 24 points in the second half as Muhlenberg solidified its Centennial Conference playoff chances with an 82-52 win against Dickinson.

February 2: Muhlenberg wins in OT
Muhlenberg survived its second buzzer-beating three-pointer in as many games and went on to defeat Franklin & Marshall, 71-64 in overtime. Sophomore Nicole Pepe scored seven of her career-high 14 points in the extra period.

January 30: Mules defeated in heartbreaker at Swarthmore
Muhlenberg rallied back from a 14-point second-half deficit at Swarthmore, but was defeated, 68-66, on a banked-in three-pointer at the buzzer. Senior Kate Clawson scored all of her 13 points in the second half.

January 26: Cold shooting plagues Mules
The Mules made only six second-half field goals and fell at home to Johns Hopkins, 52-44.

Leeann Lanza January 23: Hot start leads to big win
Muhlenberg jumped out to a 19-4 lead and went on to defeat Ursinus, 67-48. Junior Leeann Lanza (right) notched her first double-double of the season with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
