Marino Scholarship Matching Gift Opportunity

Muhlenberg is excited to announce that over $70,000 has been received in gifts and pledges to The Frank and Carroll (“Coach” and “Mrs. Coach”) Marino Scholarship, a recently established scholarship intended to support first-generation college students.

In addition to the wonderful gifts already received for The Marino Scholarship, a generous (and anonymous) alumnus has offered to match all new gifts up to a maximum of $25,000, thus helping propel the Marino Fund to $100,000. The donor has promised to match dollar-for-dollar all new gifts and pledges received by September 17, 2011.  Donors have until June 30, 2013 to fulfill their new pledges, but the goal is to have firm commitments in place by Reunion/Homecoming Weekend 2011 (September 16-18), at which time the first Marino Scholarship recipient(s) will be introduced.

Join us and keep Coach’s memory alive at Muhlenberg: make a gift and/or pledge to The Marino Scholarship today.
