The Circle of 1848 recognizes persons who have included philanthropic support of Muhlenberg College as part of their estate planning. To date, more than 400 alumni, parents, friends, faculty and staff have made a bequest provision for the College through their will; made Muhlenberg an ultimate beneficiary of their retirement plan; created a life income gift agreement; or have made some other planned gift arrangement that benefits the College.

Member Benefits

In addition to the satisfaction of helping Muhlenberg students, members receive a lapel pin, the Society's publications, listings in various College publications and invitations to annual events of recognition including the annual Advent Carol Service and a Summer Theatre event.
