As a general policy, Muhlenberg College remains open and fully operational during most snow storms and inclement weather situations. However, in emergencies or extreme weather conditions, a decision may be made to close the campus and cancel classes.
The closure decision is made by Muhlenberg College (the President's office) for day courses, and by The Wescoe School (Dean's office) for evening courses.
Should a delayed opening be announced, class schedules will not be rearranged, but will adhere to regular meeting times. If changing weather conditions during the day require a decision on early closing of the College, the Dean of the Wescoe School will provide notice regarding the status of evening classes to the listed radio and TV stations, Campus Safety, and Seegers Union.
Associates
For some students, this is a great way to earn a needed degree while they work toward a bachelor's degree. For others, an associate's degree provides the focused, two-year experience necessary to succeed. No matter what your plans, our academic advisors are always there to help you chart your course of study.
The Associate of Arts Degree requires the completion of 12 courses as General Academic Requirements and 5 courses in a concentration: Business Administration, Accounting, Computer Science, or Psychology.
