typical day:
As a law student I spend hours upon hours reading, writing, and studying. I wouldn't change a minute of it! I have been given the opportunity to learn about and understand something that few people have access to. We all live by the laws of the U.S. but how often do we understand why? In order to begin questioning and moving forward it is imperative to have a firm grasp on the status quo.
exciting news:
I got accepted to 10 law schools, thanks in large part to the Communication department and the critical thinking skills I learned while a Communication major. Thank you!
insights:
Although I am not in a "typical" field for communication students, I think that is the beauty of the major. My studies in environmental communication, media and politics, and media law all encouraged me to pursue a legal career. Communication gives students a broad background that equips them with the skills necessary to tackle the problems in all fields.
