typical day:
On a daily basis, I perform archival research for news and feature length stories aired on "The Early Show". Not only do I work with the producers to create audience-friendly and appropriate programming, but I create, gather, compile, and write story pitches to be aired on "The Early Show". I have produced my own photo shoots and edited tape, all while being a liaison to producers, their story contacts, and PR firms. I also work closely with the Senior Producer for special events and lifestyles.

If you are interested in working in television news, at some point in your career you will have to work an overnight shift. If's best to start warming up to that idea now!
