Class of 1992
Social Studies Teacher - Hershey High School
typical day: In the field of education there is no "typical" day. This is my tenth year of teaching social studies at Hershey High School in Hershey, PA. I teach World Cultures II to approximately 165 juniors (this year). I teach six 42-minute classes with lunch duty and one free planning period. The school day begins at 7:40 am and ends at 2:25. I usually leave around 5:00-5:30pm.

exciting news: I have been dating a dairy farmer, David Fisher, for almost three years. Wedding bells should be ringing in the near future. I was honored with an invitation (by American Council for International Studies) to be a keynote speaker at the annual winter conference in London, England last December 2004. I spoke on the topic of how "Travel Changes Lives." I have led two student groups to Europe during my teaching tenure at Hershey High School. This summer (2006) I will be leading a group of 15 students to Salzburg, Vienna, Budapest, Prague, and Munich on a 13-day tour.
