Welcome to the home page for the Department of Media and Communication Internship Program. This website is designed to provide essential information and documents for current students enrolled in the Internship Program as well as those students with an interest in enrolling in one of these courses.

1) Before you attempt to enroll in the Internship, you should understand the process for doing so. Please examine the document below before proceeding:

2) Next, all students wishing to enroll in the Media and Communication Internship must read closely the Media and Communication Department Policy on Internships (click below for this document). All students must indicate that they have read this document closely and understood it by signing and returning the certification notice found at the end of the document:

3) Along with the certification above, you will also need to obtain all necessary signatures on a form from the Registrar's Office in order to enroll in the Internship (see below for link).

4) We also ask that you read thoroughly the Muhlenberg College Internship Manual which is available from the Career Center. Or, you can view the manual online using the link below. You can access a copy of the midterm and final site supervisor evaluations, internship learning contract, and other important materials here.

5) Finally, once you have completed these steps and successfully enrolled in the Internship course, you will need the syllabus. Below is the syllabus for the Internship experience. Also listed are instructions for writing your journal based upon your experiences in your internship. All students enrolled in the internship must complete daily journal entries about their experiences (see instructions below):
