
Mr. Gross also is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Mr. Gross clerked for Chief Justice Michael J. Eagen of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court in 1965. He was assistant public defender for Lehigh County from 1969 to 1972 and solicitor to the Lehigh County Office of Children and Youth from 1973 to 1987. Mr. Gross also has lectured in law at Muhlenberg College and Lehigh University.
He has written on a wide range of topics, and his articles have appeared in such national publications as Social Work, Case & Comment, and Communications and the Law. He also has published work in the Pennsylvania Bar Quarterly and the Pennsylvania Law Journal Reporter. Some of his articles cover press law including defamation, subpoenas, and freedom of information issues. He also writes about general-interest issues such as custody and domestic relations.
Mr. Gross is a founder of numerous local non-profits. He has served-or currently is serving-in various capacities for several community organizations:
In 2004, Mr. Gross was named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer, reserved for the top 5 percent of Pennsylvania attorneys, and holds an AV Rating by Martindale-Hubbell Legal Directory.
