Associate Director, Muhlenberg Fund (Job #926) -  Sustains, stewards and grows giving from the College’s leadership donors in support of the current operations of the College. PLANT OPERATIONS

THEATRE & DANCE
Assistant Professor, Dance – Thriving B.A. dance program in an excellent liberal arts college located less than two hours from Manhattan is accepting applications for a full-time two-year Visiting Assistant Professor of Dance.  Candidates should have a significant record of achievement as an artist/educator in dance with scholarly expertise in dance history, performance studies and/or arts advocacy and dance education. Additional ability to teach studio courses in jazz, ballet or somatic practices desirable.  Strong commitment to undergraduate and liberal arts teaching as well as ongoing research in theory, literature and history of dance should be evident.  A terminal degree required. Responsibilities include teaching theory and studio courses, mentoring student writing, participating in student recruiting, academic advising, and college committee assignments. The dance program serves 80-100 majors in addition to dance minors and the larger college population.  Position begins fall semester 2010.  Competitive salary and benefits.  Electronic applications should include: a current curriculum vitae, a letter of application, a description of research and teaching interests, writing samples, and contact information for three references.
