Blackboard

Blackboard is a comprehensive and flexible e-learning software platform. It is designed to be easy to use for both faculty and students, and provides an effective suite of learning tools for web enabled access to course content.

Accounts for faculty and students have been created and login information was provided to everyone granted access. To enter the Blackboard System, please click on the appropriate server link below to go to the Blackboard Welcome page. From the Welcome page, click on Login, enter your username and password in the appropriate fields on the login page, and then click on Login.

New Features in Blackboard

Password Change Capability: You may now change your password if desired. To change your password, use the following procedure.

• After logging in, click on Personal Information from your My Muhlenberg page
• Click on Change Password
• Enter the desired new password and click on Submit
• Click on OK
• Click on the My Muhlenberg tab to return to your home page.

Forgot Your Password?

If you forgot your password, you can now click on the Forgot Your Password link from the login page to change your password and login to Blackboard. After clicking on the link, you will see the Lost Password page which requires you to enter identifying information. Follow the instructions on the Lost Password page. You must have a valid, working Muhlenberg e-mail address to use this feature. A message will be sent to you with a link to follow to complete the Forgotten Password process. If you do not have a Muhlenberg e-mail address, you will not receive this message. Students should contact the Student Help Desk to obtain a Muhlenberg e-mail account. Faculty should contact the Faculty Help Desk to obtain a Muhlenberg e-mail account.

Problems with Blackboard?

Students should contact the Student Help Desk at ext. 3375.

Faculty and staff only should contact the Faculty/Staff Support Desk at ext. 3566.
