Recent graduate John DeLuca (right) became the first member of the Muhlenberg men’s lacrosse team to earn All-America honors twice when he received
honorable mention. He also was selected to play in the Division III All-Star Game.

May 8: Softball eliminated from NCAAs
The Muhlenberg softball team was eliminated from the NCAA Tournament with a 4-1 loss to Farmingdale State. The Mules lost their suspended
game to William Paterson, 9-2. Senior RiRi Ferrigno (right) had three hits, including a record-tying double, vs. Farmingdale.

May 7: NCAA softball game suspended
The Muhlenberg softball team’s NCAA playoff game against William Paterson was suspended due to darkness in the top of the sixth inning with
the Pioneers leading 5-2. Freshman Brittany Blohm (right) homered in the second for the Mules’ two runs. The game will be picked up
at 10:00 on Friday morning.

May 6: NCAA softball preview
Summer break starts a little later for the Muhlenberg softball team, which travels to Ramapo for the NCAA Tournament after finishing up its schoolwork.

May 4: Softball sent to Ramapo
The Muhlenberg softball team will play in the NCAA Tournament at Ramapo College in Mahwah, N.J. The seventh-seeded Mules are scheduled to
play William Paterson in the first game of the double-elimination tournament on Thursday, May 7.

May 3: Track teams come in third
Both Muhlenberg track and field teams finished third at the Centennial Conference Championships, an improvement of two places from last year.

May 2: Crist slams softball to playoff win
Senior Samantha Crist (left) hit a walkoff grand slam with one out in the bottom of the seventh to give the Muhlenberg softball team
an 8-5 win against Gettysburg in the first game of the Centennial Conference playoffs. The Mules dropped their second game of the day to Haverford and
will face Gettysburg again in an elimination game on Sunday ... Women’s tennis dropped its playoff match to Washington, 5-3.

May 2: Men’s 4x800 wins gold
Senior Stuart Udis (right) ran the key leg as the Muhlenberg men’s 4x800 relay team captured the gold medal at the Centennial Conference
Track and Field Championship. The Mules also won two silvers on the first full day of competition.

May 1: McClary named men’s basketball coach
Muhlenberg selected Scott McClary (left), a 1994 graduate of the College, to be its 23rd men’s basketball coach. McClary spent the last six years as head
coach at Marymount.
