Corey Goff was named head baseball coach at Muhlenberg College in May
2006. In his second year, he led the Mules to their third 20-win season and a trip to the Centennial Conference playoffs.
In his last stint as head coach, Goff led Wyoming Seminary to its first
playoff berth in more than a decade in 2000. He was assistant baseball
coach at Westminster Schools in Atlanta in 1999, working with pitchers and
catchers. Goff also was pitching coach at his alma mater, Susquehanna
University, in 1996.
A three-year letterwinner and two-year captain at Susquehanna, Goff was
the starter and winner of the 1995 Middle Atlantic Conference championship
game as the Crusaders won the first MAC title in their history.
Susquehanna made two NCAA Tournament appearances during Goffs playing
career.
In taking the baseball position, Goff stepped down as assistant coach
with the Muhlenberg football team, which he helped win four straight
Centennial Conference co-championships from 2001 to 2004. He was an
assistant athletic director from 2003 to 2008, serving as interim
athletic director in 2006, and was promoted to associate athletic director in 2008. Goff also serves as summer camp
coordinator and supervises the Colleges strength and conditioning
programs.
