April 30: Conti named player of the year
Junior Christian Conti was named Centennial Conference player of the year after helping lead the Mules to the playoffs. In its
last regular-season game, Muhlenberg fell to DeSales, 16-6.

April 26: Muhlenberg secures playoff berth
Muhlenberg clinched its first Centennial Conference playoff berth since 2003 with a 4-3 win in the first game of a home doubleheader against Washington.

April 19: Another gem for Cresta
Sophomore Phil Cresta teamed up with senior Paul Faith (left) on a three-hitter as Muhlenberg won the first game of a doubleheader at McDaniel, 4-0. The Green
Terror scored a lot of runs late to win the nightcap, 23-12.

April 12: Mules run winning streak to four
Muhlenberg moved into fourth place in the Centennial Conference with a doubleheader sweep at Gettysburg. Junior John Kalis (left) recorded
his 100th career hit in the opener and hit an RBI double in the nightcap.

Junior Christian Conti was named Centennial Conference player of the week, then hit a home run in a 12-3 loss at Dickinson.

April 6: Muhlenberg beats nationally ranked Hopkins
Muhlenberg rode an excellent pitching performance from junior Matthew Ordog (right) to an 8-5 win against Johns Hopkins in the second game of a
doubleheader. The Blue Jays, who held off a Mule rally to win the opener, 7-6, are ranked ninth in one Division III poll.

April 2: Bats come back to beat Dickinson
One game after getting one-hit, the Mules pounded out 16 hits in a 14-7 home win against Dickinson. Junior Eric Hammond (left) drove in three runs, while classmate
Christian Conti had three extra-base hits and tied a school record.

The Mules rode the pitching of sophomore Phil Cresta, who worked into the ninth and allowed only five hits, to a 5-1 win at Haverford
in their first Centennial Conference game of the season.

Muhlenberg split with Elizabethtown in its final non-conference doubleheader, winning the first game 4-1. Junior Edward Risener (right) had five
hits in the twinbill, including his first career home run.
