Muhlenberg College Cheerleading
The Muhlenberg College cheerleaders are an enthusiastic, dynamic group whose mission is to carry the MULE spirit in support of ’Berg teams, fans and the entire Muhlenberg community.

Muhlenberg fields a competitive coed squad of approximately 20 women and men. Primary cheering events are football and men’s basketball games, as well as occasional participation in special programs and celebrations.

The squad finished in first place at the 2002 Cheertech Northeast Championships, held at Temple University. The team is pictured below with its trophy.

Like most Muhlenberg students, the cheer team members are involved in many aspects of college life. Cheerleading, although demanding, is not so time consuming as to limit involvement in other activities.

Each member of the cheerleading team participates in fund-raising events and camp during the month of August. Tryouts for the next year’s team are held in April for returning cheerleaders and all incoming freshmen.
