A weekly look at whats going on in the Centennial Conference:

Muhlenberg has its work cut out if it wants to return to the CC playoffs,
but the good news is that 5-4 was good enough to finish in the top four
last year. Washington has already clinched a playoff berth, but after that
the race is still wide open, especially since many of the contending teams
play each other this week

Muhlenberg made a big move in the standings by handing Gettysburg its
first CC loss and now needs only a split of its final two matches (at
Dickinson and Ursinus) to clinch a playoff berth. Johns Hopkins has a
chance to make things very interesting this week with home matches against
Gettysburg and Franklin & Marshall.

Iberer Named Player of the Week: For the fourth time in her
career and the second time this season, sophomore Dawn Iberer of the
Muhlenberg womens soccer
team has been named player of the week by the Centennial Conference.
Iberer received her latest honors after scoring two goals, including the
game-winner, in the Mules dramatic 4-3 double-overtime win against
Gettysburg on Saturday. Muhlenberg trailed, 3-1, at halftime, but began
its comeback on Iberers first goal, 3:20 into
the second half. She netted the winning goal 1:12 into the second
overtime.
The victory extended Muhlenbergs winning streak to a school-record 11
games and gave the Mules (13-2, 7-0) sole possession of first place in the
Centennial Conference. It was also the Mules first win ever against
Gettysburg.
For the season, Iberer leads the team and ranks second in the CC with 12
goals, seven of which have been game-winners.
