Ferrelli Breaks Digs Record at CMU
Senior Dana Ferrelli of the Muhlenberg volleyball team became the programs all-time leader in digs
Ferrelli recorded 37 digs in the four matches, increasing her career total to 1,219 six more than Kimberly Maurer compiled from 1995-98. Ferrelli broke the record by posting 11 digs against Gettysburg in the tournament finale. Another highlight of the tournament was senior Meaghan Billie becoming the first player in team history to record 300 kills in each of three seasons. With a team-best 41 kills in four matches, Billie upped her season total to 338. She had 344 in 2000 and 348 last year. Billie has 1,284 career kills and has an outside shot at breaking the school record of 1,336 in the Mules two remaining matches.
