Johns Hopkins edged Franklin & Marshall, 1-0, and is the lone remaining
undefeated team in the CC ... Dropping their first CC games of the season
during the week were Swarthmore (to Dickinson), Washington (to Muhlenberg)
and Gettysburg (to McDaniel). The latter game was McDaniels first win
against Gettysburg since 1992 ... The Green Terror, ranked 11th, also
suffered a 1-0 loss to No. 9 Lynchburg and will host Muhlenberg on
Saturday.

Washington won its second straight CC game, 5-1 over Ursinus. The Shoremen
are the next CC opponent for Muhlenberg.

McDaniel put the first blemishes on the two teams that went into the week
with unblemished CC records: The Green Terror defeated Dickinson, 3-1,
then tied Franklin & Marshall, 2-2 ... Muhlenberg will move into sole
possession of first if it beats Bryn Mawr (Wednesday) and F&M (Friday) in
home games this week. The Mules have won 16 straight CC home games.

Franklin & Marshall had its 13-match winning streak snapped with losses to
NYU and Cortland State.
