With a week left in the regular season, the playoff field is all set. Gettysburg (25-5, 9-0), which has won 19 in a row, is the top seed and will host the tournament. The Bullets first-round opponent will be Haverford (19-7, 6-3), while the other first-round matchup pairs Johns Hopkins (21-6, 8-1) with Franklin & Marshall (14-10, 7-2). |
Womens Soccer: Armstrong Honored, Game Postponed

Junior Rebecca Armstrong of the Muhlenberg womens soccer team
has been
Armstrong was honored after recording her second career hat trick, scoring three goals in the first 24 minutes of a 3-1 win at Washington. Her first career hat trick also came against the Shorewomen, last year. Armstrong added an assist in the Mules 2-0 shutout of Dickinson and leads the team with 24 points on 10 goals and four assists. Armstrong has to wait a little longer to get the chance to add to those numbers, as todays scheduled game at Moravian was rained out and rescheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 29, at 3:00. In addition to being for local bragging rights and a Matte Award point, the game will feature two of the top teams in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Muhlenberg (12-3-1) has moved up to fifth in the regional rankings and received votes for the national top 25, and Moravian (9-2-3) is ranked eighth:
