FARRELLY REPEATS 75 AT F&M
For the second year in a row, sophomore Brian Farrelly of the Muhlenberg mens golf team shot a 75 at the Franklin & Marshall Fall Invitational. The Mules finished sixth out of 16 teams at the tournament. Farrellys 75 matched the low round of his career and was good for fifth place, three strokes off the pace. He carded a 75 twice last year, finishing third at the F&M Fall Invitational and second at the Muhlenberg Fall Classic. Senior Matt Katz tied for 10th place with a score of 78. |
Boisvert Named Player of the Week Both Soccer Teams Ranked Freshman goalkeeper Kayla Boisvert of the Muhlenberg womens soccer team has been named player of the week by the Centennial Conference.
Boisvert was honored after tying a season high of nine saves to post her
Boisvert has started six of Muhlenbergs nine games this season and has a 1.29 goals-against average and .842 save percentage. The win pushed the Mules (5-3-1) back into the Mid-Atlantic Region rankings at No. 8. The Muhlenberg mens team (7-2) fell from second to fourth in the regional rankings after falling to Messiah last week. Oddly enough, it was Johns Hopkins a team Muhlenberg defeated, 3-1 and not Messiah that jumped over the Mules and back into the national top 25. Messiah played a scoreless draw with Moravian over the weekend.
