MENS GOLF 10th IN FIRST TOURNEY
The Muhlenberg mens golf team opened up its 2005-06 season by finishing 10th out of 15 teams at the Tom Kinder Memorial Tournament, hosted by Bridgewater at Lakeview Golf Course in Harrisonburg, Va. Junior Patrick Moyle shot in the 70s in both rounds of the two-day tourney, tying for 15th overall with a score of 155. The Mules were tied for fifth after the first day, thanks to a 75 from senior Chris Walach and a 79 from freshman Bill Snow in his collegiate debut. |
Senior midfielder Christopher King
of the Muhlenberg mens soccer team has been crowned co-player of the
week by the Centennial Conference.
King was honored after scoring three goals and assisting on two others in
For the season, King leads Muhlenberg and the Centennial Conference with 12 points on five goals and two assists. He has 10 goals and four assists in the Mules current 11-game unbeaten streak. Muhlenberg is off to a 4-0 start for the first time since 1994 and hosts ninth-ranked Johns Hopkins, the defending CC champion, in an early-season showdown on Saturday. |
