Sophomore Jess Anselmi registered a career-high 23 kills as the Muhlenberg volleyball team lost at home to Moravian, 3-1.

Trailing 2-0, Muhlenberg won the third game, 30-26, as Anselmi recorded seven kills and senior Julie Lauro added five more. The Mules took over with a 9-2 run for a 24-17 lead. After Moravian closed the gap to 29-26, Anselmi put it away with a kill.

For the match, Lauro, playing in her 100th match with Muhlenberg, recorded a double-double with 19 kills and 13 digs. Senior Mary Henning had a season-high 36 assists.

The Mules still lead the Greyhounds, 2-1, in the competition for the Matte Award, which goes to the school with the better record in head-to-head competition in all sports.
