WOMENS SOCCER TAKES CC OPENER
Senior Elana Rabinowitz headed in a rebound with 4:50 left in the
first overtime to give the Muhlenberg womens soccer team a 2-1 win
over McDaniel in its Centennial Conference opener.

The Muhlenberg mens soccer team suffered its first loss of the
season, 2-0 at Johns Hopkins in its Centennial Conference opener.
The Mules (3-1) are now winless in 10 CC regular-season and playoff games
at Homewood Field.

the Mules tying goal.

Its very frustrating, Rabinowitz said. But we knew we
were going to get it sometime; we just had to keep up the pressure.
The game-winning goal came after one of a handful of near-misses. Freshman
Kasey Hackers blast from 25 yards out was saved off the
crossbar and came down to Rabinowitz, who had a wide-open net to shoot at.
McDaniel (1-3, 0-1) scored an early goal off its only corner kick, but
Muhlenberg knotted the contest in the 15th minute with a goal by freshman
Kimberly Hacker.
All three of the Mules wins are by one goal.
