MEN’S SOCCER SLIPS TO SIXTH

The Muhlenberg men’s soccer team fell from second to sixth in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Mid-Atlantic rankings following its 2-0 loss at Johns Hopkins. The Mules are one of five Centennial Conference schools in the top 10 in the region:

VOLLEYBALL DROPS FIRST CC MATCH

Young, who entered the match ninth in the CC with 4.18 digs per game, improved her average to 4.36.
The Muhlenberg volleyball team dropped its third match in a row, falling at Dickinson in four games in its first Centennial Conference contest of the season.

As has happened in all 12 of the Mules’ matches, one team jumped out to a 2-0 lead. For the seventh time, the other team won Game 3, as Muhlenberg (4-8, 0-1) led from start to finish in a 30-27 victory. The Red Devils (5-8, 1-0) won easily in the fourth game, however.

Freshman Phylicia Lee led the Mule attack with 10 kills. Sophomore Megan Eiser broke her three-day-old career-high in assists, with 34, and junior Megan Young logged 25 digs.
