MENS SOCCER SLIPS TO SIXTH
The Muhlenberg mens soccer team fell from second to sixth in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Mid-Atlantic rankings following its 2-0 loss at Johns Hopkins. The Mules are one of five Centennial Conference schools in the top 10 in the region:
1. Messiah (4-0-1) |
As has happened in all 12 of the Mules matches, one team jumped out to a 2-0 lead. For the seventh time, the other team won Game 3, as Muhlenberg (4-8, 0-1) led from start to finish in a 30-27 victory. The Red Devils (5-8, 1-0) won easily in the fourth game, however. Freshman Phylicia Lee led the Mule attack with 10 kills. Sophomore Megan Eiser broke her three-day-old career-high in assists, with 34, and junior Megan Young logged 25 digs. |
