SNOW TWO OFF PACE AT LEB VAL
Sophomore Bill Snow of the Muhlenberg mens golf team shot a three-over-par 75 at the Lebanon Valley Fall Tournament. The Mules tied for eighth out of 24 teams. Snow was just two strokes off the lead, trailing six golfers who carded a 73. Snow also was two off his best career round, a 73 last fall at Franklin & Marshall. Sophomore Josh Shantzer finished with a career-best 81. |
Muhlenberg freshman Kimberly Snyder made an auspicious collegiate
debut, winning medalist honors with an 81 at the Dickinson Fall
Invitational.
The 81 set a program record, breaking the previous low of 87. After a slow start, Snyder finished with a flourish, with birdies on four of her final seven holes. She won by four strokes over a Gettysburg golfer. Senior Kristen Amore also had a fine round, carding a career-low 88 to finish in fifth place. The Mules were second out of four complete teams. |
