Both Soccer Teams Ranked in Region

Volleyball Swept at DeSales

The Muhlenberg volleyball team suffered its third loss in a row, falling in three games at DeSales.

Senior Megan Young recorded 24 digs, increasing her career total to 998. She needs two more to become the ninth player in team history to reach the 1,000-dig milestone.

Both Muhlenberg soccer teams show up in this week’s Middle Atlantic Region rankings conducted by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

The women (2-0-2) moved up to ninth after earning a No. 10 ranking in last week’s poll. The Mules host Messiah, ranked second in the region and third in the country, tomorrow night.

The undefeated (3-0) and unscored-on men’s team made its first appearance in the rankings this season, at No. 8. Of the seven teams ahead of them, four are their opponents in the next five games, starting with Franklin & Marshall (third in the region and 18th nationally) on Saturday.
