Muhlenberg senior Lauren Boyle was the first player to be named Centennial Conference women’s basketball player of the week for the 2008-09 season.

Boyle was honored after leading the Mules to the Scotty Wood Tournament title. She averaged 16.5 points and shot 54.2 percent from the floor in two tournament game, garnering MVP honors. Boyle scored 14 points in only 17 minutes vs. St. Elizabeth and registered 19 points and nine rebounds in the championship game vs. William Paterson.

In eight career Scotty Wood games, Boyle averaged 15.8 points and shot 93.1 percent from the foul line, earning all-tournament honors three times. She has been named CC player of the week five times in her career.
