men’s tennis hosts tournament

The Muhlenberg men’s tennis team opened its fall season by hosting a four-team tournament.

Sophomore Dan Zakheim, who won the No. 6 singles bracket at the 2007 Mule Classic, moved all the way up to No. 1 and won his first match, coming back after losing the set to defeat his opponent from Wilkes in a third-set supertiebreaker. He was defeated in the final by an Elizabethtown player.

Junior Mark Apostolos reached the final at No. 5 singles.
