Three freshmen on the Muhlenberg men’s tennis team fared well at the ITA Southeast Regional, hosted by Mary Washington over the weekend.

Joseph Scurnick won the consolation bracket of the B6 singles draw, coming back after losing his first match and the first set of his first consolation match. Scurnick won the supertiebreaker 10-0 and breezed in straight sets in his next two consolation matches.

The doubles team of Dan Rifkin and Jeffrey Delman reached the semifinals of the B3 doubles draw, defeating a duo from Centennial Conference rival Washington before falling to a York team, 8-6. Delman also won his first-round B4 singles match.

The fourth Muhlenberg representative at the tournament, sophomore Jason Richman, won a match in both singles and doubles.
