May 21: Mules honored for academics
Seven Mules were named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association National Academic Squad, and the entire team earned the NFHCA Team Academic Award.

Chessie Martinez October 24: Mules victorious in home finale
Sophomore Chessie Martinez (left) broke a scoreless tie with her first goal of the season and Muhlenberg went on to capture its fourth straight game, defeating Franklin & Marshall, 2-0, on Senior Night.

Jess Kasza October 21: Muhlenberg wins third straight
Sophomore Jess Kasza (right) scored her third goal of the season in a 3-1 win vs. Scranton.

October 20: Garbutt honored by conference
Senior Kristin Garbutt was named Centennial Conference defensive player of the week for her part in the upset win against Johns Hopkins.

Junior Tara Cohn scored 32 seconds into overtime to give the Muhlenberg field hockey team a 1-0 upset of No. 6 Johns Hopkins. Senior Kristin Garbutt (left) made a defensive save as part of an effort that kept the high-scoring Blue Jays off the board.

Kristen Sabia October 15: Muhlenberg outscores Swarthmore
Junior Kristen Sabia (right) notched two assists in the Mules’ 5-3 win at Swarthmore.

October 10: McDaniel one better than Mules
Muhlenberg suffered a 2-1 loss at McDaniel.

Nicki Notarianni October 7: Eight is great for Mules
Muhlenberg scored four times in each half and picked up its first Centennial Conference win with an 8-0 shutout of Bryn Mawr. Junior Nicki Notarianni (left) recorded her first career hat trick.

October 4: Mules fall at Dickinson
The Mules suffered their fourth one-goal loss of the season, 1-0 at Dickinson.

October 1: Streak snapped by Haverford
The Mules’ two-game win streak was stopped by a 3-1 loss to Haverford.

Jillian Katz September 27: Muhlenberg wins second straight
Freshman Jillian Katz (right) netted her first career goal to open the scoring in Muhlenberg’s 3-2 win at Widener.

Tara Cohn September 24: Cohn records hat trick in breakout win
The Mules broke out of their scoring slump with a 5-0 shutout of local rival Moravian. Junior Tara Cohn (left) scored three goals for the first Muhlenberg hat trick in four years.

Julie deLaurentis September 20: Mules drop CC opener
Muhlenberg took a 1-0 lead on a penalty stroke by senior Julie deLaurentis (right), but Washington scored three second-half goals to spoil the Mules’ first Centennial Conference game.
