Muhlenberg sent its longtime coach out with an excellent season that included 16 wins and a trip to the Centennial Conference semifinals.

May 1: McClary named new coach
Muhlenberg selected Scott McClary (left), a 1994 graduate of the College, to be its 23rd men’s basketball coach. McClary spent the last six years as head
coach at Marymount.

February 28: Season ends at F&M
Muhlenberg overcame an early 10-point deficit to take a second-half lead on a basket by senior Tim Murray (left) but Franklin & Marshall pulled away late for
an 87-79 win in the semifinals of the Centennial Conference playoffs. Freshman Spencer Liddic scored 15 points to lead the Mules for the second straight playoff game.

February 25: Muhlenberg wins playoff game
Senior Mike Bernardini (right) made two free throws with 1:24 left to break a 50-50 tie, and Muhlenberg
held on to defeat Haverford, 52-50, in the first round of the Centennial Conference playoffs.

February 24: Playoff preview
The Mules will try to pull off a rare feat and beat Haverford for the third time this season in the first round of the Centennial
Conference playoffs. Three Mules, including junior second-team selection Peter Barnes, were named to the All-CC team.

February 21: Mules fall in finale, to host playoff game
Muhlenberg erased a 10-point deficit in the last 2:57 of regulation, but lost in overtime at Ursinus, 97-90. The loss dropped the Mules to the fourth
seed in the Centennial Conference playoffs, giving them a first-round home game against Haverford.

February 14: Muhlenberg wins nail-biter for 10th CC win
Junior Ryan Foster (right) hit a three-pointer with 19 seconds left, then blocked a potential game-tying jumper in the final seconds to preserve a win at
Johns Hopkins. The Mules completed a season sweep of Hopkins for the first time, moved into third place in the
Centennial Conference and tied a school record with their 10th CC win.

February 11: Mules move into tie for third
Junior Brian Frankoski (left) scored a career-high 20 points as Muhlenberg breezed to a 79-53 win against Swarthmore. The victory
moved the Mules into a tie for third place in the Centennial Conference with three games remaining in the regular season.

February 7: Mules upend Gettysburg
Junior Peter Barnes (right) recorded his ninth double-double of the season with 22 points and 12 rebounds and hit the go-ahead basket with 1:31 left as
Muhlenberg notched its second straight big road win, 62-58 at Gettysburg.

January 28: Balanced attack leads Mules to big win
The Mules improved their playoff outlook by knocking off defending Centennial Conference champion Ursinus, 86-68. Junior
Zachary Rosenberg (left) was one of five Mules in double figures, scoring a career-high 12 points in his second start.

January 26: Mules rewrite record books
Muhlenberg set school and Centennial Conference records by going 26-for-26 from the foul line in a 73-65 win at Swarthmore. The two
teams combined to break a Division III mark with a 38-of-39 performance on free throws. Freshman Spencer Liddic (right) scored 19 points on 8-of-10 shooting.

January 21: Mules hold off Dickinson
Sophomore Evan Tozer (left) made six free throws in the final 31 seconds to help Muhlenberg pick up its first road win of the
season, 66-62 at Dickinson. Tozer finished with 11 points.

January 15: Mules break long drought vs. Hopkins
Muhlenberg held Johns Hopkins without a field goal in the last three minutes to snap a 21-year, 13-game home losing streak to the Blue Jays with a 64-57 win.
Senior Chris MacIntosh (right) put the Mules ahead for good with a driving layup with 2:45 left.
