Three members of the Muhlenberg team were selected to the All-Centennial Conference squad, including first-team picks John DeLuca (right) and Kyle Farris.

May 2: Muhlenberg falls in playoffs
Muhlenberg’s best season ever came to an end with a 13-3 loss to Gettysburg in the semifinals of the Centennial Conference playoffs.

May 1: Championship preview
Muhlenberg has been playing to keep its season alive for more than a month and will try to continue its run against Gettysburg.

April 28: Farris named player of the week; playoff schedule set
Senior Kyle Farris was named Centennial Conference player of the week after leading the Mules to a playoff-clinching win. Muhlenberg opens the CC playoffs at nationally ranked Gettysburg on Friday.

Andrew Bell April 26: Muhlenberg qualifies for CC playoffs
Muhlenberg clinched the fourth and last Centennial Conference playoff spot after a 9-8 road victory against direct contender Ursinus. Senior Kyle Farris notched a hat trick, including the ninth goal, which was the 100th of his career, and sophomore Andrew Bell (left) made 12 saves, one in the final seconds to preserve the win.

Matthew Schroeder April 23: Mules prevail in home finale
Muhlenberg extended its winning streak to seven by defeating Moravian, 17-6, in its last home game of the 2008 season. Sophomore Matthew Schroeder (right) picked up six ground balls in less than a half of action.

April 21: Muhlenberg receives votes in national poll
For the first time in its short history, Muhlenberg is receiving votes in the national poll.

Sean Delany April 19: Defense brings win on Senior Night
The defense pitched a shutout for the final three quarters to help the Mules come back from an early 3-0 deficit and defeat Montclair State, 8-4, on Senior Night. Sophomore Sean Delany (left) scored the go-ahead goal late in the third quarter.

Paul Munday April 16: Mules tie one record, set another
A man-up goal by sophomore Paul Munday (right) 23 seconds into the second half capped a 5-0 run that broke a 5-all tie, and the Mules went on to defeat FDU-Florham, 14-8. They set a school record with their fifth consecutive win and tied another mark with their seventh win of the season.

Andrew Lolley April 12: Muhlenberg makes it four in row
The Mules erased a 6-3 halftime deficit against visting McDaniel to claim a 10-7 victory. Junior Andrew Lolley (left) was one of three players who scored two goals for Muhlenberg, which recorded its fourth successive win.

Dan Dugan April 9: Mules roll to third straight
Muhlenberg kept its playoff hopes alive with a 9-4 home win against Dickinson. Senior Kyle Farris scored three goals, and junior Dan Dugan (right) lost just one faceoff for the second game in a row.

April 7: Norton named player of the week
Senior Mickey Norton was named Centennial Conference player of the week for his role in the win at Franklin & Marshall.

Mickey Norton April 5: Mules pull out dramatic triple-OT win
Senior Mickey Norton (left) recorded his school-record-tying fifth assist of the game 67 seconds in the third overtime, setting up Kyle Farris for the goal that gave the Mules a 9-8 win at Franklin & Marshall.

Kyle Farris March 29: Farris surpasses school record in first league success
Senior Kyle Farris (right) became the most prolific goalscorer in school history as the Mules rolled past visiting Swarthmore, 15-5, for their first Centennial Conference victory on the season.

Mike Brown March 26: Mules fall to Haverford
Muhlenberg dropped its third consecutive Centennial Conference game, falling on the road to No. 9 Haverford even though senior Mike Brown (left) scored his first career hat trick. All three defeats came against teams that are ranked in the top 10 in the country.

March 22: Muhlenberg loses to Bullets
The Mules lost their second conference game, falling to national powerhouse Gettysburg, 16-5.

Nick Fletcher March 15: Mules drop heartbreaker
Muhlenberg nearly pulled off the biggest win in program history, but No. 8 Washington scored in overtime for a 12-11 win. Junior Nick Fletcher (right) scored three goals for his first career hat trick.

Brent Siebold March 12: Muhlenberg sinks Mariners
Freshman Brent Siebold (left) scored four goals as Muhlenberg won at home against Merchant Marine, 10-6.

Tim Martin March 2: Mules pick up first season victory
Senior Kyle Farris scored four goals and classmate Tim Martin (right) added two to lead Muhlenberg past hosting Greensboro, 12-6. This was the first win for the Mules on the young season.

February 25: Muhlenberg edged in opener
Muhlenberg threw a scare into 20th-ranked Stevens but lost, 7-5, in its first game of the 2008 season.

February 22: Season preview
Muhlenberg looks to continue its progress in the tough Centennial Conference.
