John DeLuca May 20: DeLuca named to All-America team
Recent graduate John DeLuca (left) became the first player in team history to earn All-America honors twice when he received honorable mention. He also was selected to play in the Division III All-Star Game.

Andy Curley May 12: Curley named to Academic Honor Roll
Sophomore Andy Curley (right) was named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for excellence in the classroom and on the field.

Nick Fletcher May 5: Two named to All-CC first team
Senior Nick Fletcher (left) was one of two Muhlenberg players voted to the All-Centennial Conference first team.

Andrew Lolley Andrew Bell April 25: Muhlenberg wins thriller in finale
Senior Andrew Lolley (left) scored with 8.9 seconds left in overtime to give Muhlenberg a dramatic 8-7 win against Ursinus in its last game of the season. The Mules tied the score on a goal with 0.9 seconds left in regulation. Junior goalie Andrew Bell (right) allowed only four goals in relief and made a key stop in overtime.

Matthew Schroeder Paul Munday April 22: Mules tune up for finale with win
The Mules won at Moravian, 14-2, in their second-to-last game of the regular season. Junior Matthew Schroeder (left) scored his first career goal and picked up four ground balls for a defense that flirted with a shutout. Junior Paul Munday (right) recorded his first career hat trick with three goals.

Alex Ardolino April 18: Another tough loss for the Mules
Muhlenberg suffered its fourth one-goal loss of the season, falling 8-7 at Montclair State. Freshman Alex Ardolino (right) scored two goals and added an assist.

April 11: Streak snapped at three
Muhlenberg’s winning streak was snapped at three with a 12-11 loss at McDaniel. Senior Nick Fletcher scored a career-high four goals.

Mike Horowitz Clint Watkins April 8: Horowitz saves day for Muhlenberg
Muhlenberg was outshot 52-32 by Dickinson, but sophomore Mike Horowitz (left) made 24 saves and the Mules won their third straight, 10-8. Freshman Clint Watkins (right) scored two goals.

Brent Siebold Tom Brant April 4: Two in a row for the Mules
Sophomore Brent Siebold (left) scored three goals for his first hat trick of the year as Muhlenberg won its second straight, 10-8 vs. Franklin & Marshall. The Mules turned a 3-2 deficit into a 10-3 lead by scoring eight straight goals. Sophomore Tom Brant (right) picked up eight ground balls.

March 28: Mules win first in double OT
The Mules picked up their first win of the season, defeating Swarthmore 4-3 on Ari Jacobson’s goal 51 seconds into the second overtime.

Ari Jacobson March 25: Muhlenberg takes No. 14 Fords into overtime
Muhlenberg overcame a three-goal second-half deficit on three consecutive goals by junior Ari Jacobson (left), but 14th-ranked Haverford scored 35 seconds into overtime to win, 8-7.

March 21: Mules battle nationally ranked Bullets
Muhlenberg trailed No. 18 Gettysburg only 4-3 at halftime, but could not score in the second half and lost, 7-3, in its home opener.

March 14: Muhlenberg drops CC opener
Muhlenberg lost at nationally ranked Washington, 16-7, in its first Centennial Conference game.

Corey Aferiat March 7: Mules come up a goal short
Muhlenberg rallied from four goals down but wound up losing at FDU-Florham, 8-7. Freshman Corey Aferiat (right) scored four points on two goals and two assists.

March 4: More tough competition for Mules
Muhlenberg lost its second straight game to a nationally ranked team, falling 17-7 at No. 11 Lynchburg.

February 22: Muhlenberg beaten in opener
The Mules opened the 2009 season with a 16-4 loss at No. 11 Stevens.

February 19: Season preview
A playoff appearance last year has the Mules ready to take the next step.

September 19: Team enjoys overseas trip
Men’s lacrosse joined the list of Muhlenberg teams that have taken an international trip when it traveled to Ireland and England this summer.

September 9: Mules honor fallen soldier
Both Muhlenberg lacrosse teams ran in a charity 5K race established in honor of a young woman killed in Iraq.
