Junior Billy Dalton (right) was one of four Muhlenberg men’s soccer players named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for the fall season.

November 10: Muhlenberg eliminated from NCAAs
Muhlenberg’s season ended with a 3-2 loss to Virginia Wesleyan in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

NCAA soccer November 5: Mules invited to NCAAs
Muhlenberg was one of four Centennial Conference men’s soccer teams to receive a bid to the NCAA Division III Championships. The Mules are scheduled to open up against Virginia Wesleyan at Salisbury.

Muhlenberg scored an early goal but was defeated by Johns Hopkins, 2-1, in the semifinals of the Centennial Conference playoffs.

Muhlenberg has its highest regional ranking of the year, just in time to face another nationally ranked team.

A goal by senior Jonathan Kliewer with 6:16 left gave the Mules a 1-0 win against McDaniel.

Junior Greg Leischner (left) netted one of two goals scored in the first 7:04 by the Mules in a 3-0 win against local rival DeSales.

Karim Assous September 29: Muhlenberg battles Hopkins
Senior Karim Assous (right) gave Muhlenberg a 1-0 lead against No. 8 Johns Hopkins, but the undefeated Blue Jays bounced back to win 2-1 in their closest game of the season.

September 27: Bennett ranked among leaders
Senior Peter Bennett has one of the top goals-against averages in Division III.

A.J. Barnold September 26: Mules hand Dickinson first loss
Junior A.J. Barnold (left) netted his first career goal early in the second half for all the scoring in Muhlenberg’s 1-0 win against previously undefeated Dickinson.

Brendan Carroll September 22: Muhlenberg prevails in overtime
Junior Brendan Carroll (right) scored early in overtime for the winning goal as Muhlenberg picked up its first Centennial Conference win of the season, 2-1 at Gettysburg.

September 19: E-town comes back for win
Muhlenberg took a first-half lead at Elizabethtown, but the regionally ranked Blue Jays scored twice in the last 28 minutes for a 2-1 win.

September 15: Mules fall to No. 18 F&M
Muhlenberg dropped its Centennial Conference opener to nationally ranked Franklin & Marshall.
