Samuel Hayden January 26: Hayden earns another academic honor
Senior Samuel Hayden (right) was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America’s Scholar All-Region team.

January 7: Mules did it with defense
Muhlenberg ranked in the top 40 in Division III in three defensive categories.

December 14: Four all-region, one All-American for Mules
A school-record four Mules were all-region selections. Sophomore Cody Antonini was also named a first-team All-American.

Adison Weseloh November 22: Four named to Academic Honor Roll
Senior Adison Weseloh (left) was one of four Mule men’s soccer players named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for achievement in the classroom and on the field.

November 13: No triskaidekaphobia for Gehrmann
Senior Mike Gehrmann is one of several Muhlenberg athletes who wear number 13 without fear of bad luck.

Cody Antonini November 9: Five Mules honored
Five Mules were selected to the All-Centennial Conference team. Sophomore Cody Antonini (right) was named player of the year and was one of two unanimous first-team selections.

November 8: No NCAA bid for Mules
Despite winning the Centennial Conference regular-season championship, Muhlenberg did not receive an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament.

November 6: Mules fall in semis
The top-seeded Mules were defeated by Dickinson, 1-0, in the semifinals of the Centennial Conference playoffs.

Winning the Centennial Conference tournament is all that's on the minds of the Mules as they prepare to host.

November 3: Muhlenberg cracks top 25
After winning the Centennial Conference regular-season title, Muhlenberg is ranked 18th in Division III.

November 2: Cecconi named player of the week
After scoring Muhlenberg’s lone goal against Ursinus and leading the Mules to shutouts against Ursinus and nationally ranked Swarthmore, junior Matt Cecconi was named Centennial Conference defensive player of the week.

November 2: CC playoff schedule set
Muhlenberg will host the Centennial Conference playoffs for the first time since 2003.

November 1: Hayden honored for grades
Senior Samuel Hayden was named to the Academic All-District team.

Matt Cecconi October 31: Muhlenberg wins regular-season title
Junior Matt Cecconi (left) scored late in the first half for the lone goal as Muhlenberg defeated Ursinus, 1-0, to clinch the Centennial Conference regular-season title and homefield for the playoffs.

October 28: Mules get tie, help
The Mules played to a scoreless draw at No. 6 Swarthmore, remaining in sole possession of first place in the Centennial Conference thanks to Gettysburg’s 3-2 win against Johns Hopkins.

Eric Miller October 24: Muhlenberg clinches playoff berth
Muhlenberg clinched a Centennial Conference playoff berth with a 4-2 win at Haverford. Senior Eric Miller (right) contributed to three of the goals, scoring two and assisting on one.

Josh Luginbuhl October 21: Regionally ranked Mules keep pace with leaders
Muhlenberg defeated McDaniel, 1-0, to move into a three-way tie for first place in the Centennial Conference. Sophomore Josh Luginbuhl (left), making his first career start, assisted on the lone goal.

Mike Williams October 14: Mules play to 1-1 tie
Junior Mike Williams (right) solved the stingy Drew defense with a first-half goal, but the Mules had to settle for a 1-1 tie.

Jason Daniels October 12: Daniels named player of the week
Junior Jason Daniels (left) was named defensive player of the week by the Centennial Conference.

Danny Way October 10: Mules remain perfect on road
Muhlenberg posted its fifth shutout in as many road games this year, scoring twice in each half to beat Washington, 4-0. Freshman Danny Way (right) closed out the scoring with his second goal.

October 8: Muhlenberg among the best in Division III
Muhlenberg shows up in the Division III statistical leaders.

Tom Reilly October 7: Late goals lift Mules
Muhlenberg came from behind to defeat local rival DeSales, 2-1. Junior Tom Reilly (left) tied the score with 12:28 to play, and senior Mike Gehrmann netted the winner nine minutes later.

Mike Gehrmann October 3: Muhlenberg falls to No. 14 Hopkins in 2OT
Muhlenberg took a 1-0 lead on a goal by senior Mike Gehrmann (right) with 15 minutes left, but 14th-ranked Johns Hopkins tied the score two minutes later and went on to win in double overtime.

Cody Antonini September 30: Mules top No. 10 Dickinson, take over first place
Sophomore Cody Antonini (left) scored the lone goal with just over seven minutes to play for the second time in five days, this time giving the Mules a 1-0 win over 10th-ranked Dickinson and sole possession of first place in the Centennial Conference.

September 29: Muhlenberg garners national recognition
The Mules picked up votes in a national poll and moved up in the regional rankings.

September 28: Antonini earns CC honors
Sophomore Cody Antonini (left) picked up Centennial Conference offensive player of the week honors after scoring the game-winning goal for the Mules against Gettysburg Saturday night.

Eric Williams September 26: Mules extend streak
Muhlenberg posted its fourth straight road shutout, defeating Gettysburg 1-0 in a key Centennial Conference match. Junior Eric Williams (right) helped set up the lone goal by heading a free kick to Cody Antonini.

September 22: Muhlenberg ranked in region
Muhlenberg is ranked eighth in the Mid-Atlantic Region heading into a stretch of tough games.
