Stoners logo July 2: Mules contribute to local team
Seven members of the last year’s Muhlenberg team are playing minor league soccer for the Pennsylvania Stoners of the National Premier Soccer League.

May 21: Dalton honored for academics
Mule senior Billy Dalton was selected to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Scholar All-East Region second team.

December 11: Gogel cited on all-region team
Senior goalkeeper Joseph Gogel earned third-team all-region honors in his first season as a starter.

Senior A.J. Barnold (left) was one of six Mules voted to the All-Centennial Conference team.

November 5: Mules fall in overtime
Dickinson scored 1:32 into overtime to break a scoreless tie and end the Mules’ season with a loss in the first round of the Centennial Conference playoffs.

November 4: Playoff preview
The Mules open at Dickinson as the fifth seed in what promises to be a very competitive playoff tournament.

November 3: Playoff schedule set
Muhlenberg will begin the Centennial Conference playoffs with a late-afternoon game at Dickinson.

Joseph Gogel November 1: Mules clinch playoff berth
Muhlenberg secured a Centennial Conference playoff berth by shutting out Ursinus, 3-0, in its last regular-season game. Senior Joseph Gogel (right) made a great save in the last five minutes to preserve the Mules’ eighth shutout.

October 30: Dalton named to academic team
Senior captain Billy Dalton was named to the Academic All-District second team.

October 29: Mules fall to No. 17 Swarthmore
Muhlenberg could not match a first-half goal and dropped its home finale to nationally ranked Swarthmore.

Brendan Carroll October 26: Seniors enjoy their day
Senior Brendan Carroll (left) scored in the fifth minute to get Muhlenberg off to a good start in an eventual 5-1 Senior Day win against Haverford. Seniors Billy Dalton and Steven Tenenzapf also contributed to the Mules’ best offensive game of the season.

Tom Reilly October 22: Mules score on corner, PK; beat TCNJ
Sophomore Tom Reilly (right) drew a penalty kick that led to the second goal in a 2-0 shutout win at The College of New Jersey.

October 18: Muhlenberg comes back for win
Two early-second-half goals gave the Mules a 2-1 win at McDaniel.

Eric Miller October 15: Mules bounce back to beat Drew
Muhlenberg rebounded from its weekend loss to bounce Drew, the fifth-ranked team in the regio, 2-1. Junior Eric Miller (right) scored the first goal and assisted on the second.

October 11: Long streak vs. Washington ends
Muhlenberg’s 21-game unbeaten streak against Washington came to an end with a 2-1 loss.

Greg Leischner October 8: Mules defeat DeSales
Senior Greg Leischner (right) scored his first goal of the season and added an assist in a 3-1 win at DeSales.

October 4: Muhlenberg battles No. 23 Hopkins to tie
Muhlenberg played a scoreless tie at 23rd-ranked Johns Hopkins, finishing up a challenging portion of its schedule with a 2-1-1 record.

October 1: Regional showdown goes to Devils
Dickinson defeated Muhlenberg, 1-0, in a matchup of regionally ranked teams.

September 30: Mules return to rankings
After two weeks away, Muhlenberg is back in the regional rankings.

Sophomore Matthew Cecconi (left) was one of two Mules to be named Centennial Conference player of the week.

Steven Tenenzapf September 27: Muhlenberg blanks Bullets
Senior Steven Tenenzapf (right) was involved in all three goals in Muhlenberg’s 3-0 win against regionally ranked Gettysburg.

Billy Dalton September 24: Mules win third straight
Senior Billy Dalton (left) scored both goals as Muhlenberg defeated Elizabethtown for the first time since 2003.

Samuel Hayden September 22: Hayden honored
Junior Samuel Hayden (right) was named defensive player of the week by the Centennial Conference.
