BASEBALL Muhlenberg 11, Lebanon Valley 5. Junior Michael Cirillo drove in a career-high four runs and junior Tim Haberbusch pitched eight innings of seven-hit ball to lead Muhlenberg past Lebanon Valley in its home opener. Cirillo drove in runs on an infield out in the second, an infield hit in the third and a two-run double in the eighth. Senior Chris Moraitis knocked in three runs, one on the first of three consecutive two-out RBI singles in the third, and senior Chuck Draper hit a two-run single in the fourth. Haberbusch walked one, struck out three and allowed only one run in lowering his ERA to 1.95. Click here for box score.
WOMENS TENNIS Muhlenberg 8, Kutztown 1. Junior Kerri Waldowski, sophomore Kristen DiLorenzo and freshman Samantha Evans were all double winners as Muhlenberg opened its spring season with a win against Division II Kutztown. Waldowski won at first singles and first doubles. Click here for box score.
MENS TENNIS Muhlenberg 4, Albright 3. The lower half of the singles lineup secured the win in the Mules' first match of the spring season. After sweeping doubles, Muhlenberg got wins by freshmen Cameron Parke and Matt Fleissig and junior Mike McCormick at fourth, fifth and sixth singles, respectively.
