Wednesday, March 14
BASEBALL at Lebanon Valley, postponed one day
MEN’S TENNIS Muhlenberg 5½, Albright 1½. After three close doubles matches, Muhlenberg won handily at four of the five completed singles contests to capture its first victory of the season. Sophomore Brad Scheller, a winner at first doubles, won his No. 2 singles match, 6-0, 6-0, and classmate Matt Fleissig, a winner at second doubles, took his No. 4 singles match, 6-1, 6-1. Thursday, March 15
BASEBALL Lebanon Valley 5, Muhlenberg 4. Missed opportunities haunted the Mules in their second loss of the season to Lebanon Valley. Muhlenberg left 12 runners on base, including eight in scoring position. The visitors battled back from a 5-0 deficit to draw to within one by scoring twice in the ninth and had the bases loaded when the game ended. Sophomore Justin Graf went 3-for-3 to raise his team-leading batting average to .487, and junior Joshua Carter also had three hits. Senior Paul Luongo pitched four innings of scoreless, one-hit relief. Click here for line score.
LACROSSE Muhlenberg 12, Kean 4. Junior Teresa Lunardi scored a career-high 5 goals to lead Muhlenberg to its third consecutive season-opening win. Lunardi had 4 goals and an assist in the first 10 minutes alone as the Mules opened up a 7-0 lead. Senior Miruna Lovin added 4 goals for her 19th career hat trick, and freshman Candice Coffman scored her first career goal. The Muhlenberg defense allowed fewer than five goals for the first time since 1997. Click here for box score.

Friday, March 16
SOFTBALL Virginia Wesleyan 8, Muhlenberg 0; Muhlenberg 5, Wesley 3. Freshman Becki Toth went 4-for-5 in the two games, raising her batting average to .611, as the Mules split on the first day of the Sea Gull Invitational. Toth had three hits in the second game, including a double, to support the five-hit pitching of freshman Danielle DeLucia. Freshman Kate Dischino drove in a run with her first career hit. A double by sophomore Kelly Berg was one of only three hits Muhlenberg could manage against Virginia Wesleyan. Click here for line scores.
BASEBALL vs. York, rained out

Saturday, March 17
SOFTBALL Muhlenberg 6, King’s 3; Cabrini 4, Muhlenberg 0. Sophomore Kelly Berg went 4-for-4 with two RBI to lead Muhlenberg to a win in the first of two games at Salisbury State’s Sea Gull Invitational. Berg drove in single runs in the first and second to help stake the Mules to a 6-0 lead. Freshman Danielle DeLucia saved the first career win for sophomore Jessica Crowley by pitching the final three innings. Muhlenberg was shut out by tournament champion Cabrini in the second game. Sophomore Missy Arnott had two of the Mules’ six singles. Click here for line scores.
LACROSSE Franklin & Marshall 18, Muhlenberg 7. Playing their Centennial Conference opener, the Mules trailed only 7-5 with 1:31 left in the first half, but the 19th-ranked Diplomats scored the next 11 goals. Senior Miruna Lovin had 6 goals to surpass the 150-point plateau for her career. Click here for box score.
WOMEN’S TENNIS Muhlenberg 6, Johns Hopkins 3. Muhlenberg swept the doubles and split the singles en route to winning its Centennial Conference opener for the first time ever. Seniors Kerri Waldowski and Marissa Lutzer paired up for one of the doubles wins, giving them a school-record 14 career wins as a team. Waldowski and junior Jennifer Chung were winners at both singles and doubles. Click here for box score.
MEN’S TENNIS Johns Hopkins 4, Muhlenberg 3. In a closely contested clash between the two teams that tied for second place in the Centennial Conference last year, Johns Hopkins came out on top. Four of the six singles matches went to a third set, and No. 1 doubles was a 9-7 match. Senior Robby Richman and sophomore Brad Scheller teamed up for that doubles win and also won their respective singles matches. Click here for box score.
