The Muhlenberg men’s golf team finished 11th out of 17 teams at Elizabethtown’s Blue Jay Classic, held at the Country Club of Herhsey.

Senior Kevin FitzPatrick and freshman Eric Rubin led the Mules by each shooting an 82.

The Muhlenberg men’s tennis team suffered its first two losses of the spring season, dropping 4-3 decisions to Drew in a match that ended late Tuesday night and to Franklin & Marshall on Wednesday. The Mules, who have played 4-3 matches on three consecutive days, are 7-2 overall, 3-1 in the Centennial Conference.

The No. 1 doubles team of juniors Brad Scheller and Matt Fleissig won in both matches to stay undefeated for the season at 8-0. Muhlenberg swept the doubles against F&M, but dropped four of the six singles matches.

Freshman Jeff Kraft also kept his undefeated record intact, improving to 9-0 at No. 4 singles with a 6-0, 6-0 shutout in the F&M match.
