BRODOWSKI SETS SCHOOL RECORD IN DECATHLON

Freshman John Brodowski set the school record in the decathlon at the Millersville Multi, held Saturday and Sunday.

Brodowski, who won the pentathlon at the ECAC Indoor Championships last month, scored an even 5200 points to break the school record of 4714 set by teammate Alex Johansen last year. Brodowski’s score, which placed him 11th out of 16 competitors in a meet that featured mostly Division I and II athletes, qualified him for the ECAC Outdoor Championships.
